There is a growing number of for-profit companies rising above the status quo in social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Such companies are identified as B Corporations. The standards that must be met in order to obtain B Corporation certification through the nonprofit B Lab is rigorous. This certification identifies the companies who have stepped out as leaders in their industries, who are seeking to change the way businesses are run, and who measure success by their impact on the environment and their communities.
But you don't have to be a B Corp to be a good business. Companies everywhere can start changing the way they do business just by changing their approach and mindset.
Join us for a panel discussion on the future of good business and learn how Philadelphia is leading the way for B Corporations from keynote speaker, Philadelphia City Councilwoman Maria D. Quiñones-Sanchez.
